The highest average in the lineup for this afternoon’s game was Wilkin Ramirez. That’s not so good. Even though the Twins were going into this season knowing it was a rebuilding year (despite what they said) you couldn’t have asked for things to break more poorly for the home team. Injuries, pitchers that failed to match their expectation, a weak free agent market and an impossibly cold spring all worked against Minnesota
You know what the scary part is? The Twins will probably end up with a better record than they had last year. This is a slow fix, and bad luck isn’t helping any.
